Luca Vidale was born in 1984 in Bassano del Grappa, a town in the Veneto region, Northern Italy. He attended the University of Padua majoring in Computer Engineering and earned his bachelor degree at the end of 2007. In April 2011 he got his master degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Padua discussing a thesis on the design and development of EPI.C.S., a system of epidemic spread of Geo-referenced information through the use of mobile applications based on Android. During his studies, Luca worked with Solar Multiservice, worked both on the development of a system for detecting the presence of company employees, and on the Detection of the intervention of social assistance and the subsequent billing by cost center. Both systems are based on .NET Compact Framework and Windows Mobile HP Pocket PC. After that, he became interested in the world of open source migrating to Linux, and in the development of mobile applications on the Android platform. Over the last few years, Luca has become keen on the development of websites and web applications using the MVC with the Zend Framework MySQL database. Attracted by these topics, he has created Modulab a Web and Graphics Development Studio in collaboration with Francesco Galvan.
